Managing Multiple Concurrent Projects With Us
If you commission more than one project at a time from Progressive Robot, managing the interaction between projects requires additional co-ordination. This article explains how we handle concurrent engagements.
Dedicated vs. Shared Resource
Each project has its own dedicated Project Manager. Depending on project size and your contract, you may have dedicated engineering resource or shared engineering capacity across projects. Your Account Manager can clarify the resourcing model for each of your active projects.
Unified Portfolio View
For clients with multiple concurrent projects, we provide:
- A consolidated project portfolio view in the portal showing all active projects and their status
- A single Account Manager who oversees all your projects and can resolve cross-project resourcing questions
- Co-ordinated billing — one monthly statement covering all active engagements where possible
Cross-Project Dependencies
When projects share components (a shared API, a design system, a data platform), changes in one project can affect others. We identify these dependencies at the start of each project and flag any cross-project impacts when changes are planned.
Priority Management
When resources are constrained across concurrent projects, your Account Manager will work with you to agree a priority order. We will not make unilateral decisions about which of your projects takes priority — this decision requires your input.
Communication
For multi-project clients, we recommend a monthly portfolio review meeting with your Account Manager — in addition to the weekly project check-ins for each individual project. This gives you a strategic overview and an opportunity to rebalance priorities as needed.
