International Projects & Time Zone Management
If your organisation operates across multiple time zones — or if key stakeholders are based overseas — managing an international project requires extra planning.
Our Team Time Zone
Progressive Robot operates on GMT/BST (UTC+0 in winter, UTC+1 in summer), 9am–6pm. All SLAs reference this time zone unless otherwise agreed.
Working With International Stakeholders
- Overlap windows: We identify available overlap slots for meetings across time zones
- Async-first communication: For large differences, we use written updates, recorded demos, and portal-based collaboration
- Dedicated slots: For kickoffs, demos, and milestones, we schedule to suit all parties even if that means early mornings or evenings for our team
Multi-Region Projects
Projects serving international users require consideration of:
- Multi-currency payment support
- Date/time format and locale handling
- Multi-language content management
- Regional data protection laws: UK GDPR, EU GDPR, CCPA (USA), PDPA (Thailand)
- CDN configuration for performance across regions
Billing
All invoices are issued in GBP unless your contract states otherwise. Currency conversion is handled by your bank — we add no markup.
