Working With Progressive Robot Remotely
Progressive Robot operates as a remote-first organisation. All our core processes are designed to work effectively without being in the same room. This article explains how we make remote collaboration work.
Communication Tools We Use
- This portal (crm.progressiverobot.com): Your primary hub for project updates, tickets, invoices, and files
- Video calls: Zoom or Microsoft Teams for meetings, demos, and workshops
- Collaboration tools: We may use Miro for workshops, Figma for design reviews, or GitHub for code collaboration — your Project Manager will share access to relevant tools
- Email: For formal communications and document sharing
Response Times
During business hours (9am–6pm GMT/BST), you can expect responses to portal messages and emails within 2–4 hours for non-urgent matters. For urgent matters, always call — do not rely on email or portal messages alone.
Video Calls
- We use calendar invites with video call links for all scheduled meetings — you should receive these at least 24 hours in advance
- We record key meetings (demos, kickoffs, workshops) with your consent — recordings are shared in the portal
- For workshops, we recommend a stable internet connection and a quiet environment with a webcam where possible
Screen Sharing & Remote Desktop
For technical support and setup sessions, we may request to share your screen (or vice versa). We will always ask permission before viewing your screen and will stop the session at any time you request. We never retain recordings of support screen shares.
On-Site Visits
We are happy to come to your office when needed — for workshops, stakeholder sessions, executive presentations, or go-live support. On-site visits are typically quoted as a day rate plus reasonable travel expenses. Speak to your Account Manager to arrange.
