Requesting Additional Work or Follow-On Services

Requesting Additional Work or Follow-On Services

Once your initial project or contract is underway, you may identify additional needs. This article explains how to request new or expanded services from Progressive Robot efficiently.

Is It In Scope or Out of Scope?

First, check whether what you need falls within your current contract:

  • In scope — covered by your current contract, deliverable within agreed terms. Discuss directly with your Project Manager.
  • Out of scope — something new or beyond what was agreed. This requires a separate quote and contract amendment or new agreement.
  • Not sure? — Raise it with your Project Manager or Account Manager and they will clarify.

How to Request Additional Work

  1. Contact your Account Manager at [email protected] with a description of what you need
  2. Alternatively, raise a ticket in the portal under Support → New Ticket and categorise it as an Additional Work Request
  3. We will arrange a scoping call if necessary and prepare a formal Estimate or Proposal for your approval
  4. Once the estimate is approved, a new contract or Statement of Work will be issued

Fast-Track Requests

If you need something urgently (e.g. an emergency fix, a quick content update, or a time-sensitive addition), indicate this clearly in your request. We will do our best to accommodate urgent needs, though they may be subject to an expedited delivery premium depending on the work involved.

Retainer Clients

If you are on a Support Retainer or Managed Services plan with a bank of hours, small additional tasks may be able to be fulfilled from your retainer without a new contract. Check your current retainer balance by contacting your Account Manager.

Referral Programme

Do you know another UK business that could benefit from our services? Progressive Robot runs a referral programme — if you refer a client who signs a contract with us, you may be eligible for a credit against your account or a thank-you payment. Contact [email protected] for details.
