What to Expect in Your First 30 Days

What to Expect in Your First 30 Days

The first 30 days of your engagement with Progressive Robot set the foundation for everything that follows. Here is a typical timeline of what happens and what you need to do.

Days 1–5: Onboarding & Setup

  • Welcome email and portal account activation
  • Introduction to your Account Manager and Project Manager
  • Contract and Statement of Work signed
  • Initial deposit invoice issued (if applicable)
  • Kickoff call scheduled

Days 5–10: Kickoff

  • Kickoff call: Introductions, project overview, timeline walkthrough, roles confirmed, Q&A
  • Project set up in the portal — you can view it under Projects
  • Communication cadence agreed (e.g. weekly update every Monday)
  • Access and credentials gathered from you

Days 10–20: Discovery & Planning

  • Requirements deep-dive sessions (workshops, interviews, documentation review)
  • Technical feasibility assessment
  • Project plan and milestone schedule finalised and shared
  • Any outstanding requirements or access items followed up

Days 20–30: First Deliverable

  • Depending on the project type, you may see first wireframes, prototypes, architecture diagrams, or an early sprint demo
  • First weekly status report sent via the portal
  • Any early risks or questions raised and discussed

What You Need to Do

Your most important job in the first 30 days is to be available and responsive. Delays in answering questions, providing access, or providing feedback in the first month can push back the entire project timeline. Your Project Manager will guide you on what is needed and when.
