Your Contract with Progressive Robot
Before any work begins, Progressive Robot will issue a formal contract that outlines the full scope of the engagement. This section explains what your contract covers, how to sign it, and what happens if circumstances change.
Types of Contracts
- Fixed-Price Project Contract — Used for defined-scope projects with an agreed deliverable and total cost. Payment is typically structured in milestones.
- Time & Materials (T&M) Contract — Used where the scope may evolve. You are billed based on hours worked and materials consumed, up to an agreed cap.
- Managed Services Agreement (MSA) — A rolling monthly contract for ongoing support, monitoring, or managed IT services. Includes agreed SLAs and response times.
- Statement of Work (SOW) — A supplementary document used alongside a master agreement to define the specifics of an individual project or phase of work.
Viewing and Signing Your Contract
Your contract is available in this portal under the Contracts section in the left-hand menu. You can:
- Read the full contract document online
- Download it as a PDF for your records
- Digitally sign using the built-in e-signature tool
Work will not begin until the contract has been signed by both parties.
Contract Amendments
If the scope of work changes, Progressive Robot will issue a Change Request (CR) or a revised Statement of Work. You will receive this via the portal and email. Any additional cost or timeline impact will be clearly stated before you are asked to approve.
Contract Renewal & Termination
- Managed Services: Contracts auto-renew on a rolling monthly basis unless 30 days' written notice is given.
- Project Contracts: These expire on completion and sign-off. A new contract is required for follow-on work.
- Early Termination: Please refer to the termination clause in your specific contract. Early termination fees may apply depending on the agreement type.
