Spotting and Reporting Security Issues

Spotting and Reporting Security Issues

Your team is the first line of defence against many security problems. Knowing the warning signs and reporting them quickly can stop a small issue becoming a serious breach.

This guide explains what to watch for, what to do if something looks wrong, and why fast reporting matters far more than getting it perfectly right.

Warning Signs

Most incidents announce themselves with small oddities. Trust your instincts if something feels off.

  • Unexpected content or links appearing on the site.
  • Logins or changes you do not recognise.
  • Sudden slowdowns or strange error messages.
  • Colleagues reporting odd emails from your domain.

Reporting Quickly

Speed matters more than diagnosis. Tell us early even if you are not certain it is a real problem.

  1. Do not try to fix it yourself if unsure.
  2. Note exactly what you saw and when.
  3. Raise a priority ticket or call your account manager.
  4. Change relevant passwords if an account may be compromised.

If you need a hand with any of this, your Progressive Robot delivery team is ready to help. Raise a ticket from the Support area of your client portal or speak to your account manager and we will guide you through the next steps.
