Setting Your Communication Preferences
Getting communications right from the start prevents missed updates and unnecessary noise. This article explains how to configure how and when Progressive Robot contacts you.
Notification Types
- Project updates: When your Project Manager posts a status update or milestone is reached
- Support ticket updates: When a ticket you raised is updated, responded to, or closed
- Invoice notifications: When a new invoice is issued or a payment is confirmed received
- Urgent alerts: For P1/P2 incidents or critical project communications
How to Set Your Preferences
- Log in and go to My Profile → Notification Settings
- For each notification type, choose Email, In-Portal Only, or Off
- Set your preferred hours for non-urgent notifications (e.g. business hours only)
- Add any additional email addresses that should receive copies of invoices
- Save your preferences
Important: Urgent Alerts
We strongly recommend keeping urgent alert notifications on at all times, especially for clients with managed services. These notifications are only sent for genuine critical issues and are never used for marketing or non-essential communications.
Team Notification Routing
If you want invoice notifications to go to your Finance team and project updates to your Project Lead, you can configure this under Settings → Contacts by setting notification preferences per contact rather than at account level.
