Getting the Most From Your Account Manager
Your Account Manager (AM) is your senior point of contact at Progressive Robot. They are responsible for the overall health of your commercial relationship — not the day-to-day project delivery (that is your Project Manager's role), but the bigger picture.
What Your Account Manager Does
- Manages the commercial relationship and contract matters
- Handles escalations that cannot be resolved at the Project Manager level
- Conducts regular business reviews to ensure we are delivering value
- Advises on new services, technologies, and opportunities relevant to your business
- Manages renewals, scope expansions, and new statement of works
- Acts as your internal champion within Progressive Robot
When to Contact Your Account Manager
- Contract or commercial queries
- Concerns about overall project direction or team performance
- Interest in additional services or a new project
- Formal escalations
- Significant changes to your business that may affect your engagement
When NOT to Contact Your Account Manager
For day-to-day project questions, milestone updates, bugs, and support tickets — contact your Project Manager directly. Your AM does not manage operational delivery and routing project queries through them causes delays.
Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs)
For ongoing and retainer clients, your Account Manager will schedule a Quarterly Business Review — a structured 1-hour meeting covering performance, roadmap, emerging needs, and relationship health. Come prepared with questions and future plans — this is your strategic planning session with us.
