Browser & Device Compatibility: What We Support
Not all browsers and devices behave identically. Understanding what compatibility we test and support helps set clear expectations.
Our Default Browser Support Matrix
Unless your SoW specifies otherwise, we test and support the following browsers:
| Browser | Versions Supported |
|---|---|
| Google Chrome | Last 2 major versions |
| Mozilla Firefox | Last 2 major versions |
| Microsoft Edge | Last 2 major versions |
| Apple Safari | Last 2 major versions (macOS & iOS) |
| Samsung Internet | Last 2 major versions (if mobile is in scope) |
Internet Explorer is not supported. IE reached end of life in June 2022.
Device Breakpoints
For responsive web projects, we test against:
- Mobile: 375px–430px (iPhone SE → iPhone 15 Pro Max)
- Tablet: 768px–1024px (iPad mini → iPad Pro)
- Desktop: 1280px–1920px
- Large screen: 2560px+ (if specified)
Issues Outside the Support Matrix
If an issue is reported on a browser or device outside the agreed support matrix, we will investigate on a best-efforts basis. If a fix requires significant additional work for an unsupported browser, this will be treated as a change request.
Specifying Custom Requirements
If your user base has specific browser requirements (e.g. a high proportion of Safari users, or a corporate environment that mandates a specific browser version), tell us at the start of the project. We will build and test accordingly.
