Mobile Display Looks Different
Your website may look perfect on a desktop but appear cramped, stretched or misaligned on a phone. This is common, because a well-built site adapts its layout to each screen size, and occasionally a part of that adaptation needs adjusting.
With most visitors now browsing on mobile, getting this right matters. This guide helps you describe the problem so we can fine-tune the layout.
Why Mobile Differs
Sites are designed to reflow for smaller screens, and occasionally that reflow needs tuning.
- Elements stack vertically to fit a narrow screen.
- A large image or table overflowing its space.
- Text or buttons sized awkwardly for touch.
- A cached old layout still showing on the device.
What to Check
These details help us reproduce and fix the issue.
- Note the device and browser where it looks wrong.
- Take a screenshot showing the problem.
- Try rotating the phone to landscape to compare.
- Hard refresh in case an old layout is cached.
How We Resolve It
We test on a range of real devices and screen sizes, then adjust the responsive styling so the layout looks right everywhere. Send us a screenshot and the device details and we will sort the spacing, sizing or alignment.
