Images Not Loading
Pages with missing images look unprofessional and can confuse visitors, but broken images are usually easy to explain. The image file may have been moved, deleted, or linked from the wrong address.
Sometimes the problem is on the visitor's side rather than the site itself. This guide helps you tell the difference and decide what to do.
Common Causes
Broken images generally come down to a handful of reasons.
- The image file was deleted or renamed.
- The link to the image points to the wrong location.
- A slow connection timed out before the image loaded.
- A caching or CDN hiccup serving an old reference.
What to Check
These steps help separate a site issue from a local one.
- Hard refresh the page to clear any cached version.
- Try the page on another device or network.
- Note whether all images fail or only specific ones.
- Record which pages are affected.
How We Fix It
If specific images are genuinely missing, we can restore them from a backup or re-upload and relink them. If many images fail at once, it may point to a storage or CDN issue, which we can investigate from the server side.
