Analytics Showing No Data

Analytics Showing No Data

If your analytics dashboard shows no visitors when you know people are using the site, you are flying blind on what is working. The tracking that feeds the reports has usually stopped reaching the analytics service.

This is a common and fixable issue, often caused by a missing or misplaced tracking code. This guide explains what to check.

Common Causes

Empty analytics reports usually trace to one of these.

  • The tracking code missing or removed after an update.
  • The wrong analytics account or property connected.
  • A consent or privacy setting blocking tracking.
  • A recent migration that dropped the tracking snippet.

What to Check

These steps help confirm whether tracking is firing.

  1. Check the date range is not set to an empty period.
  2. Confirm the correct property is selected.
  3. Use the analytics 'real-time' view while you browse the site.
  4. Note when data last appeared.

How We Fix It

We can verify the tracking code is present and firing, reconnect the correct account, and confirm data is flowing in real time. We can also set up server-side or consent-aware tracking where needed. Raise a ticket and we will restore your reporting.
